You are probably ready for managed IT if

IT lands on someone whose job it is not

The office manager, the operations lead or the owner is the first call when something breaks, and that time comes out of the work they were hired to do.

The same problems keep returning

Printers, logins, mailboxes and the shared drive break in a loop because nobody owns the underlying cause.

Nobody can say what you run

There is no list of your devices, licences, warranties or who has access to what, so every decision starts with a discovery exercise.

Spending arrives as a surprise

IT costs show up as emergencies and replacements rather than as a plan you approved in advance.

What is included

Every engagement

Unlimited helpdesk

Remote and onsite support for every user and device covered by your agreement, with a real person on the end of the line.

Proactive monitoring

Servers, workstations, network and cloud services monitored around the clock so faults are fixed before they become outages.

Patching and updates

Operating systems and business applications kept current on a schedule that suits your hours, not ours.

Security baseline

Endpoint protection, email filtering, multi-factor authentication and backup checks included, not sold separately.

Account management

A named contact who knows your business, plus regular reviews of what is working, what is ageing and what to budget for.

Vendor management

We deal with your internet provider, software vendors and hardware suppliers so your staff do not have to.

How we take it over

1

Free IT review

A 30-minute conversation about what you run, what breaks and what worries you. You get our read on what to fix first, whether or not you engage us.

2

Audit and document

We record the environment properly: devices, users, licences, network, backups and access. That document is yours and it is the reason support stops depending on one person’s memory.

3

Stabilise

The known faults get fixed and the security baseline goes on before anything is redesigned. Most of the noise disappears in this phase.

4

Run and plan

Monitoring, patching and helpdesk run continuously, and we meet on a regular cycle to review what is ageing, what is at risk and what to budget for.

Who managed IT is for

Businesses of roughly 10 to 200 staff who depend on email, shared files, line-of-business software and the internet to trade, but cannot justify a full in-house IT team. If IT problems land on the office manager or the owner, managed services take them away.

How we work with you

We start with an IT review of what you have today. From there we agree a fixed monthly scope, document your environment, and take over support and maintenance. Nothing is rebuilt for the sake of it; we fix what is broken first and plan the rest with you.

Not sure what you need? Start with a free IT review.

We look at your current setup and tell you what we would fix first. No obligation, no jargon.

Working alongside Steve on security-focused initiatives has been both productive . He brings a calm, methodical approach to complex challenges, helping shape solutions that are not only effective but built with long-term resilience in mind. What stands out most is Steve’s depth of knowledge combined with sound judgement. In a landscape where security risks are constantly evolving, this gives us a high level of confidence in the decisions being made and the systems being implemented. Questions we get asked

What does managed IT services actually include?

Helpdesk support for your staff, monitoring and maintenance of your systems, security tooling, backup checks, and ongoing planning, all under one monthly agreement with a defined scope.

How is managed IT different from break-fix support?

Break-fix means you call when something is broken and pay for the time. Managed IT means we are responsible for keeping things working, so our incentive is to prevent problems rather than bill for them.

Can you work alongside our existing IT person?

Yes. Many clients keep an internal coordinator and use us for the helpdesk, projects and security. We document everything so responsibilities are clear.

Do you support Sydney businesses onsite?

Yes. We are based at 222 Pitt St in the Sydney CBD and provide both remote and onsite support across the Sydney metro area.

What happens in a free IT review?

A 30-minute call, phone or Teams. We ask what you run, what breaks, and what worries you, then tell you plainly what we would fix first and what it would take. There is no obligation and nothing to install beforehand.

How long does it take to switch providers?

Onboarding usually runs over a few weeks: audit and documentation first, then a parallel period where both providers are reachable, then a clean handover date. Nothing is switched off until we can support it.

What is not covered by a managed agreement?

Large projects such as office moves, migrations and full hardware refreshes are scoped separately so they do not distort the monthly cost. Third-party application support is coordinated but the vendor remains the vendor.
