Signs your IT support is not working

Tickets go quiet

You log a problem and hear nothing until you chase it, so staff stop reporting things and work around them instead.

You explain your setup every time

Each call starts from zero because nobody has written down how your systems fit together.

Fixes do not stick

The same fault returns next month because the cause was never addressed, only the symptom.

Nobody comes onsite

Remote support cannot reach a dead switch, a failed drive or a new desk, and the answer is always to wait.

What is included

Every engagement

Helpdesk for your staff

Phone, email and portal. Tickets are logged, prioritised and followed through to a fix.

Onsite technicians

For hardware, network and anything that cannot be fixed remotely, a technician comes to you.

User and device setup

New starters, new laptops, printers, phones and access permissions handled properly on day one.

Microsoft 365 and email

Mailbox problems, shared calendars, Teams and OneDrive sorted without the runaround.

Network and Wi-Fi

Slow internet, dropouts and dead spots diagnosed and fixed, not just restarted.

Plain-English advice

When something should be replaced or upgraded, we tell you why in language you can take to a budget meeting.

What happens when you call

1

A person answers

Your staff reach the helpdesk directly. The request is logged with what was happening, on which device, for which user.

2

Triage against your documentation

We already know your environment, so the first minutes go into the fix rather than into discovery.

3

Fix remotely, or attend

Most issues are resolved in the same session. When hardware or the network needs hands, a technician is scheduled to your site.

4

Close the cause

Recurring faults are escalated out of the ticket queue and into a fix, so the same problem is not logged a third time.

Support built for small business

Most of our clients do not have an IT department. That means we explain things without jargon, we keep a record of your setup so you never have to re-describe it, and we say when a cheaper fix will do.

Not sure what you need? Start with a free IT review.

We look at your current setup and tell you what we would fix first. No obligation, no jargon.

“Steve from Static Computers has consistently demonstrated exceptional expertise across Microsoft 365, particularly in environments where security and precision matter most. Working alongside Steve on security-focused initiatives has been both productive . He brings a calm, methodical approach to complex challenges, helping shape solutions that are not only effective but built with long-term resilience in mind. What stands out most is Steve’s depth of knowledge combined with sound judgement. In a landscape where security risks are constantly evolving, this gives us a high level of confidence in the decisions being made and the systems being implemented. Equally, his responsiveness and availability make a real difference. When timing matters Steve is dependable, engaged, and quick to act. We greatly value the working relationship and look forward to continuing to collaborate with Steve and the team at Static Computers.”

Questions we get asked

Do you offer IT support for small businesses in Sydney?

Yes. Small and medium businesses have been our focus since 2006. Support is scoped to your size, whether that is five staff or two hundred.

Is support remote or onsite?

Both. Most issues are resolved remotely within the same call. When hardware or the network needs hands on, we send a technician to your Sydney premises.

Can we get support without a long-term contract?

Ad-hoc support is available. Most clients move to a managed agreement once they see how much less goes wrong when someone is maintaining things.

What happens in a free IT review?

A 30-minute call, phone or Teams. We ask what you run, what breaks, and what worries you, then tell you plainly what we would fix first and what it would take. There is no obligation and nothing to install beforehand.

How quickly do you respond?

Response targets are set in your agreement and prioritised by impact, so a whole team offline outranks a single mailbox rule. We agree those targets with you rather than publishing one number for every business.

Can our staff contact you directly?

Yes. Every covered user can raise a ticket themselves, which is faster than routing everything through one internal person.

Ready for IT that stays steady?

Book a free IT review. You get a written report covering what you run, what is at risk, and what we would fix first. No obligation.
