Questions we get asked
Does Microsoft 365 back up our email and files?
Microsoft provides resilience for its own infrastructure, not a backup for your data. Deleted or encrypted items are only recoverable within limited windows. A separate backup gives you long-term, point-in-time recovery.
How quickly could we be back up after a failure?
That depends on the recovery objectives we agree. We design for your tolerance, from same-day restores of a file share to rapid failover for critical systems, and we document what to expect.
What happens in a free IT review?
A 30-minute call, phone or Teams. We ask what you run, what breaks, and what worries you, then tell you plainly what we would fix first and what it would take. There is no obligation and nothing to install beforehand.
How often should backups run?
It depends on how much work you could afford to redo. Most businesses land on at least daily for file and email data, with more frequent copies for systems where a lost hour is expensive.
How do we know the backup works?
Because we restore from it on a schedule and send you the result. A green tick in a console only proves a job ran, not that the data comes back.
